IRN's sport reporter in Beijing, Alan Lewis, rounded off sixteen hectic days with a gold medal-winning performance of his own. With many stations taking IRN bulletins on a Sunday afternoon, we wanted them to really shine, to fully reflect the scale of the stunning closing ceremony, and of course Team GB's incredible achievements. Alan delivered once again, meeting the tightest deadlines and really bringing the drama of the event to life.
